REGISTRATION FOR SUMMER PROGRAMS BEGINS AT THE KICKOFF
Bring your calendars to register for summer programs. They fill up fast.

Register for the Reading Game at the Library or onlineDirections for online tracking.
Rules of the Reading Game. You can also track your reading on a log.

Registration is required for all programs unless indicated & all programs are free of charge. Finishing times are approximate.
 Parents are asked to take siblings, who are not registered for programs, to a different area of the library. Children of all abilities are welcome. Call (914) 234-3570 for information or check the website www.bedfordfreelibrary.org

Summer Reading Game
Ages 5 & older from Wednesday, June 10-Monday, August 10
AGAIN THIS YEAR-you can track your reading online here (available after June 10) or keep your own reading log which we provide. Read or be read to for 1 hour to earn a sticker and 2 hours to earn a raffle ticket. The game ends with a celebration on Tuesday, August 11-4:00 - the winners will be announced & prizes awarded. Full reading game instructions hereRaffle tickets must be in by Monday, August 10 at 6:00. Do not need to be present to win. One prize per child. Choose with care.

Book Buddies
Ages 3 & up, Mondays through Wednesdays, July 1-Aug. 5 at 3:30-5:30
Read with or be read to by a Book Buddy. Sign up for 30 minute sessions.
Adult must stay in the Library with young children.

Musical Mother Goose Storytimes
Ages 12-30 months, Wednesdays at 10:15-11:00
 Session I: July 8, 15, 22 (This session is full)
 Session II: July 29, August 56, 132
You may sign up for one session only and then join a waiting list.
Registration began Monday, June 1 at 10:00

Drop In Preschool Storytimes
Tuesdays in August at 2:00
Thursdays in July & August at 11:15
Preschoolers with adult, no registration

Book Swap
During July & August bring your used paperbacks to the Library or to the Bedford Village Pool (good condition only) to swap for “new-to-you” books. Children of all ages are invited to participate.

Summer Reading Lists
for area schools are available in the Library and several online

Summer Math
Ages 3-9 Keep up your math skills - kits available in the Library. Information is on their website.

Summer Knitwits

Total beginners to those with experience.
Supplies provided to beginners. Make something fun.

Summer Sewing Mini Camp
Entering grades 4 and up
Monday - Thursday, August 24-27 at 10:00-11:30
Total beginners to those with experience.
Learn to sew and how to use a sewing machine
Must attend all sessions
