REGISTRATION FOR SUMMER PROGRAMS BEGINS AT THE KICKOFF Dr. Michele Miller, from Westmoreland Sanctuary, will guide you as you create your own little terrarium worlds in this hands-on, fun activity for families. We will provide the container, soil, plants. You bring the “decorations” to make it unique: stones, sticks, little people, the list is endless. No fee. Refreshments served. Bring a calendar to register for summer programs.

Summer Reading Game
Ages 5 & older from Wednesday, June 12-Monday, August 12 AGAIN THIS YEAR-you have the option to track your reading online here or keep your own reading log which we provide. Read or be read to for 1 hour to earn a sticker and 2 hours to earn a raffle ticket. The game ends with a celebration on Tuesday, August 13 at 4:00 - the winners will be announced & prizes awarded. Full reading game instructions here. Raffle tickets must be in by Monday, August 12 at 6:00. Do not need to be present to win.

Book Buddies
Ages 3 & up, Mondays through Thursdays, July 1-August 8 at 3:30-5:30 Read with or be read to by a Book Buddy. Sign up for 30 minute sessions. Adult must stay in the Library with young children.
Musical Mother Goose Storytimes
Ages 12-30 months, Wednesdays at 10:15-11:00 Session I: July 10, 17, 24 Session II: July 31, August 7, 14 You may sign up for one session only and then join a waiting list. Registration began Monday, June 3 at 10:00
Drop In Preschool Storytimes
Tuesdays in August at 2:00 Thursdays in July & August at 11:15 Preschoolers with adult, no registration
Book Swap During July & August bring in your used paperbacks (good condition only) to swap for “new-to-you” books. Children of all ages are invited to participate.

Raffle for Hand Sewn Quilt Come in to buy tickets for a beautiful hand sewn quilt of TRUCKS made by Suzanne Sunday. Tickets are 1 for $1, 6 for $5, 14 for $10. Proceeds to benefit the Children’s Room. Drawing to take place early September.
