Monday 4:00 p.m. storyteller: Join Katie Eisenberg, Storyteller, as
she makes up stories based on the audience and the objects they bring with
them. Ages 4 - 8. Registration necessary.
Summer Reading Game - ages 5 & older. Read books and try to win a prize! Read or be read to: 1 hour earn a sticker, 2 hours earn a raffle ticket. Drawing is Wednesday, August 13th at 4:00 p.m. Reading Game for Young Adults - each 50 pages earns a point which can be “spent” on various prizes. These will be on display in the JUV/YA Room. Ages 11 +. End of Game Celebration on Thursday, August 14th at 4:00. Book Buddies Registration –children ages 3+ can sign up for this program at the library. Read or be read to one-on-one for 30-minute sessions, Monday through Thursday 3.30 to 5.30 in July, and Wednesdays, Aug. 5 & 12. Summer Activities – detailed information available in our summer program brochures. Summer Book Trade – bring in your “old” and in good condition paperbacks and swap for “new-to-you” books. Summer Food & Back-to-School Supplies Drive Drop Off - to help KatonahCommunity Center. Reading Lists from local schools are available in the Children's & JUV/YA rooms. |

Game in the Children's Room continues: Children ages 5+ can still
register to participate. This will end with a celebration on Wednesday,
August 13th at 4:00 p.m.- all participants are welcome.
Raffles will be drawn. You do not need to be present to win
and each winner can only receive one prize.

ANNUAL APPEAL
The library's 2007 - 2008 Annual Appeal has now concluded. We shall be sending out our next Annual Appeal in October. If you are interested in donating to your local library and think you are not on the mailing list, please call us at (914) 234 3570 and ask for Margaret or Ann.
- Calling all Babysitters
- The library has a book in which all local babysitters can advertise their availability. If you are looking for "work" or you need a babysitter, come to the library and maybe you will make a connection.
